By water, located on the west end of Lake Hickory, 2 miles west of the 321 bridge. By land, find George’s at the corner of Catawba Ave & Duke St at the Rhodhiss Bridge. Very casual. Slips available, dock-side service too. M – Sat 11am – 10 pm, Sun 11am – 7pm. $-$$

At the Oxford Dam. Great, down-home food, casual atmosphere. Country style steak specialty. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. M – Fri 5:30am – 8pm, Sat 5:30am – 3pm, Sun 7am – 2pm. Very casual. $
Big Daddy’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar

Derado's Italian Gourmet Market

North Harbor Club

American fare ranging from sandwiches to full dinners. Indoor or outdoor dining. Live entertainment weekends. Open for lunch and dinner, but only seven days a week. Come by boat, 18 day slips available. Casual. $$-$$$

River City Bar and Grill

This isn’t just another bar on the lake, it’s a lively family restaurant with a laid-back theme. In the morning, try some of the best homemade biscuits & gravy in the south, cooked up by the legendary “Butch,” who’s been cookin’ on the lake for years. For lunch, make sure you come relax and enjoy some sweet tea or a freezing cold beer on the big ol’ deck. T-Bones at the Lake

Seafood and steaks. Large restaurant area, with outdoor bar and patio overlooking the lake. Next to Buster Boyd Access and Lake Wylie Marina. (see 27 on Lake Wylie map). Come by boat, there are 38 slips. Casual. $-$$
5800 Charlotte Hwy, York.
Homemade Pimiento Cheese and Chicken Salad are great, but the current big seller is the BLT. The menu includes burgers, dogs, and chicken as well as salads and a great club sandwich. Wonderful place to stop on the way to or from a day on Lake Wylie. Open 5:30am (for breakfast, of course) til 3pm M – F; 6am – 3pm Sat. Very casual. $
High Rock Boat & Ski Club

Cruise in by boat or drive in by car. The Boat and Ski Club is located right on the water’s edge on the Rowan County side of beautiful High Rock Lake. If you enjoy great food, live entertainment and a place to have a really good time then this is your port of call. Beer, wine and cocktails are available from our full service bar. Seafood and family dining. It’s at the public access ramp, and across Bringle Ferry from Tamarac Marina (see 51 on High Rock Lake map), so you can come by boat. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very casual. $

Very fine grill food. Walk-up service with seating inside as well as deck seating overlook the lake. Broasted chicken, hamburgers (including the Smiley Burger!), hot dogs, shrimp. Breakfast buffet on weekends. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 10am – 8pm everyday. Come by boat, there are slips as well as a gas dock and ramp. Twin Harbor Cafe

Twin Harbor Café opens at 7am daily. During winter months, closing time is an early 2pm. Twin Harbor offers the Lake Tillery community a full line of breakfast items like pancakes, eggs & omelets.
